Orin Swift Papillon is a bold, full-bodied Bordeaux-style red blend from Napa Valley, crafted by renowned winemaker Dave Phinney. Known for its "massive" house style, it typically combines all five classic Bordeaux varietals to create a rich, decadent profile. 

• The Blend: Traditionally a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. The 2022 vintage notably introduced 7% Syrah into the blend.
• Aromas: Intense notes of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry, often layered with dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, and graphite.
• Palate: Opulent and "enveloping" with rich flavors of plum, boysenberry, and mocha. It is known for high alcohol content (often around 15–16%) and a silky yet weighty texture.
• Finish: Long and polished, featuring well-integrated, fine-grained tannins and a subtle drying character.
