ALTITUDE/SOIL: North-west-facing sandy gravel slope, elevated at 400 metres above sea level. The position ensures maximum sun exposure, resulting in fully ripe fruit.

The Wine

With lovely aromatics of blackberries, dried figs, mint chocolate and classic Clare Valley Earthiness. Our Shiraz is bright, punchy, complex with a supple pallet. Extraordinarily fine, structured tannins make this wine perfect to drink now but will cellar perfectly for up to 10 years.

Winemaking

Fruit de-stemmed with cold maceration for 2 days.

9 day fermentation on skins, pumped over 3 times a day.

Basket pressed into a combination of Old French Oak Hogsheads and small tanks(to retain freshness).

Components blended to create final wine.
