Clare Valley stalwarts, the brothers Koerner, have now embraced the Adelaide Hills as well with their Leko (Lenswood Koerner) range of wines.
Here we see an organic single-vineyard Pinot out of the Piccadilly sub-region of the Hills. Soft, and driven by its fruit profile that is quite classical of the hills; sour cherry rhubarb, and sarsaparilla, this wine also has a nice subtle earthy tone which balances out those tart red fruit characters.
Adelaide Hills Pinot is awesome, Koerner wines are awesome, so expectations should be high here.. and the brothers sure don’t disappoint.
