Jericho Fume Blanc was informed by the great wines of Pouilly Fume, in the Loire Valley, this is Sauvignon Blanc done differently. A lifted tropical bouquet jumps out of the glass. Heady pineapple, passionfruit and ripe peaches are underpinned by delicate characters of brioche and cashew nuts derived from lees stirring. Texture and weight are balanced by fresh varietal acid.
Fermented entirely in seasoned French oak, and held on lees for four months with regular stirring, this wine is resplendent with bright tropical fruits, in perfect harmony with the complexities provided by the lees contact. Baking spice, brioche, and cashew butter are balanced with lemon lime curd acid.
