Cobaw Ridge 'Il Pinko' is a highly acclaimed, minimal-intervention Australian rosé produced by biodynamic stalwarts Alan and Nelly Cooper in the cool-climate Macedon Ranges, Victoria. Far from an ordinary, simple summer sipper, it is widely regarded by wine critics as one of the country's most complex, serious, and compelling styles of rosé.
It is primarily a Syrah (Shiraz)-based rosé. In cooler or more unique seasons, small amounts of estate-grown Lagrein are occasionally blended in.
Complex layers of rosehips, Turkish delight, fine spice, wild strawberries, and savoury Syrah herbs.
