The Battle of Bosworth 'Heretic' is a highly-acclaimed organic red wine blend from the McLaren Vale region in South Australia. It serves as a modern twist on the traditional Australian GSM (Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro) blend by shifting its focus toward Iberian (Spanish and Portuguese) grape varieties.
More than the sum of its parts, 'Heretic' is a super blend of alternative varieties, bringing Iberian flavours and savoury goodness to the wine, with a soupcon of that McLaren Vale classic, Shiraz. A wine for all seasons, 'Heretic' has a cherry blossom nose with dark fruits on the soft, savoury palate. It finishes nicely and is tight and focused, and has a lovely, grainy structure and length. Vegan friendly.
