Bekkers Petit Chablis is a unique "Chardonnay project" by Emmanuelle Bekker, who travels from McLaren Vale to her native France each year to produce these wines for release in Australia. Unlike Bekkers' famous McLaren Vale reds, this wine is made in Chablis, France, specifically from vineyards on the plateau behind the village of Beines.
Aromas: Lifted notes of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn), citrus zest, green apple, and white peach, often with a smoky or flinty "gun-flint" mineral base.
Palate: Crisp and light with zippy acidity and a distinctive saline, stony minerality.
