The essence of Grounded Cru Grenache is derived from the 85+ year old Dry Grown Bush Vines on our McLaren Flat home vineyard.
These Old Vines provide a wonderful provenance, intensity and extraordinary character to the wine. Our Grenache offers a delicious raspberry lift, with plum and spicy notes adding to the array of aromas. The palate is pretty and brooding, rich and textural with raspberry and plum flavours. Opulent with bright red fruits and generous length create a seriously good McLaren Vale Grenache. Grounded Cru Grenache has broad appeal to red wine consumers. This is a perfect accompaniment to slow-cooked pork belly on a bed of Asian greens.
